# AI Change Approval

> A Shopify app that lets Claude propose changes to a store's content, and writes nothing until the merchant approves each change in a before-and-after review. Applied changes can be undone in one click.

## How it works

- The merchant installs the app and connects Claude (via the Model Context Protocol). The connection is approved inside the merchant's own Shopify admin.
- Claude is never given a tool that writes to the store. It can look things up and propose changes; every proposal waits in an approval queue.
- Each proposal is shown as a field-by-field diff against the live store, graded low, medium or high risk.
- If the store has changed since a proposal was made, approval is refused and nothing is written.
- Applied changes can be reverted. Deleting a product cannot be truly undone, and the app says so before approval.
- Batches of changes are reviewed and approved as one job.

## What it can change

Products and variants (including prices, stock levels per location, adding and removing variants), product images and their alt text, collections (products in manual ones; tag, title, type, vendor and price rules in automatic ones), pages, blogs and articles, navigation menus, URL redirects, metafields and metafield definitions, metaobjects, translations (into any enabled language, including unpublished ones, store-wide or for a single market; it can also report what is untranslated or outdated), discounts (creating them and changing value, products, minimums, dates and customer segments; never named customers), and the name, status and percentage price adjustment of markets. It cannot access orders or payment details, and it reads customer data only to list customer segments by name — never an individual customer's details.

Paid plans are billed through Shopify. Review, diffs, the audit trail and undo are on every plan; high-risk changes (prices, availability, deletions) can never be auto-approved.
