Terms of Service
AI Change Approval · Last updated 28 September 2026
1. Who these terms are with
AI Change Approval (“the app”) is operated by EC Web. By installing the app on your Shopify store you agree to these terms on behalf of the business that owns the store.
2. What the app does
The app lets an AI assistant you connect propose changes to your store’s content. It shows each proposal as a before-and-after comparison and writes it to your store only once it is approved — by you, by someone with access to your Shopify admin, or by an auto-approval rule you have set up yourself.
3. Approval is your decision
The app applies what is approved and nothing else, and it refuses to write if your store has changed since a proposal was made. But deciding whether a change is right for your store is yours: you are responsible for reviewing proposals before approving them, and for the rules you choose to auto-approve with. We are not responsible for the commercial effect of changes that were approved.
Proposals are written by the AI assistant you connect, not by us. They can be wrong. The review step exists for exactly that reason.
4. Third-party services
The AI assistant you connect is provided by its own operator under its own terms, and so is Shopify. Using them is between you and them. Our privacy policy explains what data flows where.
5. Plans and billing
The app has a free plan and paid plans, described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, and may include a free trial. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the app, or by uninstalling it; charges and refunds are handled under Shopify’s billing terms. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to interfere with the app or other merchants, or to get around its approval step or its limits.
7. Your data
Your store’s content remains yours. We use it only to run the app, as set out in the privacy policy. When you uninstall, access ends immediately and everything we hold for your store is deleted 48 hours later.
8. Availability
We work to keep the app available and correct, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. It may occasionally be unavailable, for example during maintenance.
9. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales or profit, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the app, with reasonable notice where we can give it.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page changes with them and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
